1st Annual Adaptive Students' Turkey Trot SOLS at SHS

The School of Liberal Studies at Savannah High observed it's 1st annual Adaptive Students' Turkey Trot for students grades 9-12 with peers of those students as well as coaches serving as mentors and race companions. Participants ran one full lap around the track, while others walked 100meters, receiving metals and certificates for each finishing placement. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners each received an actual Thanksgiving turkey to take home and share with their families just in time for the 2022 Thanksgiving holiday!
